Space Live presents....
Three live music events put on by three individual teams. Recruited by the V Project Stroud, these 12 volunteers aged 16-25yrs, will be hosting their own events at The Space arts centre on Landsdown, Stroud, between now and January 2009.
The 12 lucky volunteers have chosen their own acts, been given free training in marketing, PR and event management, been given a budget to cover their overheads and also trained in sound engineering and stage light operation.
The v project is a national funded initiative looking to change young peoples perceptions of volunteering. It aims to offer opportunities within Stroud's art centre long term, creating a pool of skilled and technically trained young people that can bring new ideas and enthusiasm to the table.
